Tree Fertilization

In a residential setting, where leaf litter and decomposing organic matter is constantly removed to better benefit, turf and landscape, the ground can become robbed of essential nutrients. Liquid fertilizer, injected underneath the turf, all but eliminates the competition between the trees’ root system, and the sod, delivering it directly to the roots. A tree that is not lacking in nutrients, is healthier, stronger and better equipped to deal with environmental stressors, insects and diseases. For the greatest benefit to the tree or woody shrubs, it is recommended to fertilize at least once a year, either in the spring or fall. Never in the heat of the summer.
